gKARAYOUZANMAIh Fude (calligraphy) Pen A

Product Description
gKARAYOUZANMAIh Fude (calligraphy) Pen
EThe patterns of the pen cases were inspired by OKAJIMA's original
patterns called gMukashi-watari-sarasah.
EThey originated from calico patterns, which were brought over to Japan from India in the early Edo Era (1600s) and became popular from the Meiji to early Showa Eras
(1860s-1930s).
EEach case is dyed by hand and has a slightly different, nostalgic color tone.
EThe design of the case comes from the image of a folding fan case for
the Japanese tea ceremony.
EOur artisans elaborately lacquer the surface of each pen by hand.
EThere are three colors; black, vermilion, and Bordeaux, all of which have deep-tone finishing.
ECarry one in your bag and write a letter with it while on a trip.
E It is packed in a beautiful paulownia (gKIRIh) wood case, so it will be very much
appreciated as a gift as well.
ENo necessary to soak the brush in the ink.
ENo necessary to make the excess ink run off at the end of the brush to prevent the ink from spattering onto the paper
